Terms of Service

1. Product

VellumVault is a local-first desktop campaign-management app for tabletop roleplaying campaigns. It includes tools for campaign notes, NPCs, locations, sessions, quests, player sheets, backups, and related prep workflows.

2. Accounts And Licensing

Red Vellum accounts may be used for download access, licensing, activation, content ownership, support, and future paid services. Campaign records are not hosted by Red Vellum Studio unless a user intentionally exports, uploads, or shares them through a future optional service.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use VellumVault for personal campaign planning and table management. You may not use VellumVault or Red Vellum services to distribute unlawful material, infringe third-party rights, bypass licensing systems, attack services, or interfere with other users.

4. User Content

Your campaign notes, characters, maps, backups, and other table material remain your responsibility. Do not publicly share third-party adventures, art, maps, rules text, trademarks, or copyrighted material unless you have permission or a compatible license.

5. Payments

Paid checkout is not active yet. When paid plans launch, payment terms, prices, taxes, and renewal details will be shown before purchase. Payment processing may be handled by Paddle or another payment provider.

6. Refunds

Refund rules are described in the Refund Policy. If a paid checkout provider is used, refunds may also be subject to that provider's processing rules.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

VellumVault is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Red Vellum Studio does not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every campaign workflow.

8. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Red Vellum Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, or campaign disruption.

9. Changes

Red Vellum Studio may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use of the website, downloads, accounts, or paid services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
